I’m based in the Philippines and I’m currently looking into US grant opportunities. I’m a little confused about the document requirements for applicants outside the US.
One thing I’m not clear about is the background clearance part. Here in the Philippines, I can get an NBI Clearance Portal, but I’m not sure if this is something that can be submitted when a grant application asks for background or supporting documents, or if they normally require a different type of document.
Has anyone from the Philippines applied for a US grant and dealt with this before? I’d really appreciate hearing how you handled the documentation.
